The
Homecoming
Donald
B. Strickland
My
family helped to build it from
the
ground, as the spirit of
God
flowed around.
Love
was all I could see and feel
while
the beauty of our homecoming
spread
its will.
A
place where we got baptized
and
truth is never disguised.
Even
when you start to roam
you
know you will always have a home.
From
generation to generation
we
handle every situation.
You
know that by the love of God
from
here you can make a brand new start.
Its
beautiful to hear your heart sing
especially
at your homecoming.
I
could go on forever, but what I really
want
to say is Happy Homecoming Day.
