If
time could stand still,
Shall I pick the moment?
I
could put it
In
a jar somewhere,
Hidden
away for days like this.
The
feeling of your fingers in mine,
The
warmth of your skin,
The
tingle of my body when you held me,
The
salty taste of your skin when I kissed you.
The
pounding of my heart,
The
surge of warmth that rushed over my lips.
If
time could stand still,
That
would be my moment.
The
clock was blinking
Bold
numbers flashing red
I
couldnt read the time they said
Sheets
were twisted at the foot of the bed
Tied
in knots around my heart and your head.
